If you're an awesome Education Content Writer, Tutor For Africa wants you! We're looking for talented writers to help create fun and informative online content for our students, from Kindergarten all the way to College. Join our team and work part-time on producing top-notch content.

Work you'll do

As a Content Writer. Your responsibilities will be:

• Content Creation: Develop educational content, including lesson plans, curriculum materials, study guides, and assessments, tailored to the K-16 educational spectrum.
• Research: Stay updated on educational trends, standards, and best practices to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to ensure content aligns with educational goals and objectives.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and grammar to maintain high-quality standards.
• Adaptability: Customize content for different learning levels, including special needs students or advanced learners.
• Multimedia Integration: Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, interactive quizzes, and visuals, to enhance learning experiences.
• Assessment Development: Create formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Feedback Incorporation: Use feedback from educators, students, and parents to continuously improve content.
• Deadline Adherence: Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; Minimum or equivalent
• Proven experience in education content writing, preferably for K-16 audiences.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and educational standards.
• Exceptional research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and multimedia tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with content management systems and publishing platforms is a plus.
